Flanomax
Special powder for flans and cheesecake
Characteristics
- Slightly smoother structure than home-made flan
- After baking: freeze/thaw-stable; the flan will not separate
- Easy to make
- Hint of vanilla
- Packaging: 10 kg bags
Recipe for flan
330 g Flanomax
170 g Sugar
240 g Water
1 L Milk
Method
- Beat the flanomax powder together with the sugar and water: whisk for 5 minutes at the highest setting using the wire whisk.
- Then add the milk (stop whisking at this point).
- Pour the liquid up to the edge of the dough-filled moulds.
- Bake at 180°C for 45 to 60 minutes.
- Turn upside down and leave to cool on the rack.
Recipe for cheesecake
- Same as the recipe for flan
- + 500 to 700 g full-fat curd cheese (quark)
Method
- Beat the flanomax powder together with the sugar and water: whisk for 5 minutes at the highest setting using the wire whisk.
- Beat the curd cheese into this foamy mixture for 1 minute.
- Then add the milk (stop whisking at this point).
- Bake like a flan, but do not turn over
